Exploring Colours

We are exploring how when two or more things mix together something new is created. We are learning about primary and secondary colours.

We put colour on paper coffee filters and dipped the filter in water. We observed that the colours separated. 

Black is a special colour because lots of colours make black.

Orange is made from red and yellow

Purple is made from red and blue

Green is made from blue and yellow
